ONMIKRO is a Montreal-based robotics startup building precision robotic arms for high-end industrial automation. Our goal is to extend automation to the micro-scale, combining robotics with machine intelligence to achieve autonomy in applications previously out of reach.

Our mission is to provide tools and methods that enable precise, autonomous handling of objects often barely visible to the naked eye. In practice, that means automating high-value workflows that typically require multiple stages of human-intensive manipulation, assembly, and inspection in demanding fields such as microelectronics, optics and photonics, medical devices and diagnostics, microfluidics, lab automation, metrology, and related precision industries.

We believe micro-automation is a new branch of industrial robotics, taking robots from factory-scale to micro-scale handling, where higher precision and autonomy can improve the quality and affordability of the devices and instruments people rely on.
